Lily has built a new life far from the small town in Maine where she grew up. After graduating from college and moving to Boston, she starts a business and takes pride in the independence she has created. Then she meets Ryle Kincaid, a brilliant neurosurgeon whose confidence and fascination with her make their connection feel thrilling.
